How do I clean my room fast?

This won’t be a deep clean, but it will make your bedroom look and feel clean on the surface.
Bedroom Cleaning Hacks
1. Freshen Your Mattress with Vodka
Don’t have time to clean your mattress with baking soda, no biggie. Just spritz it with some plain Vodka and let it air dry while you’re in the shower.
The vodka will neutralize any odors and you don’t have to worry about vacuuming it up.
Rubbing alcohol works too, but the smell from the alcohol will take a little longer to dissipate.
2. Simplify Bed Linens for Quick Bed Making
Get rid of all of the fluff! The more layers of bed linens you have, the longer it’s going to take to make your bed.
All you really need is a bottom sheet, a duvet with a cover, and a couple of pillows. Make bed-making easy by ditching those extra sheets, blankets, and pillows.
All you’ll need to do to make the bed is pull the duvet up and fluff the pillows.
3. Use a Lint Roller to Dust Soft Surfaces
Are your lamp shades and curtains looking a little dusty?
Give them a quick clean with your favorite lint roller. Just roll the sticky tape over the surface and let it do all of the work.
This bedroom cleaning hack works great on bedding, upholstered furniture and headboards too.
4. Blast Bugs Out of Window Tracks
Try this hack from my window track deep cleaning process to get bug carcasses out of your window tracks fast.
Blast the window tracks with a couple short bursts of canned air to loosen dead bugs so you can vacuum them out.
5. Eliminate Mold and Mildew with Hydrogen Peroxide
One of my favorite cleaning hacks is to use hydrogen peroxide. It’s extremely effective at cleaning and killing mold and mildew.
Spray mold and mildew with hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for a few minutes. Wipe mold away with a paper towel. The hydrogen peroxide will penetrate and kill the mold spores.
If the area moist and prone to mold and mildew, periodically spray it with hydrogen peroxide and just let it dry.
6. Dust Mini Blinds Quickly with the Vacuum Upholstery Attachment
No time to clean your blinds? Give them a quick dusting my closing them tight and vacuuming back and forth in a top down pattern. Flip them the opposite direction and do the other side.
It’s not a deep clean, but it’s quicker and easier. Plus it makes cleaning easier when you have time to wash them, and it doesn’t leave dust buildup around the strings like those fancy blind cleaning tools do.
7. Designate a Section of Closet for Barely Worn Clothing
Do you have a chair covered with clothes you barely wore and will wear again before washing?
Designate a section of your closet for those clothes and get rid of the chair. You can hang the clothes up in the designated section when you take them off, and they won’t be hanging out making your bedroom look messy.
8. Use a Microfiber Mop to Dust Your Walls
If your walls are even slightly textured, they’re dust magnets. You can eliminate the dust pretty quickly by running a dry microfiber mop over your walls in a top down, left to right pattern.
The microfiber mop comes in handy when it’s time to deep clean your bedroom too.
9. Freshen the Air with a DIY Room Spray
No time to clean your room, mix up a DIY room spray and make it smell freshly cleaned.
Mix 1 part rubbing alcohol to 3 parts distilled water (you can use tap water in a pinch), and add 10 to 20 drops of your favorite essential oils.
Spritz on fabrics and around the room for a fresh smell.
10. Dust Flat Surfaces with a Microfiber Cloth
Quickly dust your flat surfaces, including wood furniture, with a swipe of a dry microfiber cloth.
The microfiber will pick up and trap the dust in the cloth so there’s no need to vacuum lower surfaces.
11. Spot Clean Streaky Glass
Quickly clean spots and streaks off of your glass surfaces with a little hydrogen peroxide.
Don’t waste time cleaning all of your glass surfaces. Spritz the streaks and spots with hydrogen peroxide and buff clean with a dry microfiber cloth. You can do the thorough cleaning during your deep cleaning routine.
